For a long time I had planned to take photos of a weekends life on the beach at the Northsea, next to my home in Schleswig-Holstein, Germany. But as I was there for holidays, my intention was, not to get stressed to much. So I decided to take just the essentials of my euipement with me. Here we go again!
The first rays of sunlight warm the atmosphere and cause a familiar spring fever. No more lack of vitamin D. The creativity turns somersaults.
And since I was planning for some time to buy a new camera, I decided now - just before the next scheduled Shooting - to purchase the long-awaited Canon EOS 7D. Consciously I have not bought the 5D Mark II with Full-frame sensor (also it is quite more expensive), because otherwise I would have to buy also new lenses.

Yesterday we have been at the 20th anniversary concert of Czech number one rockband called Kabát (coat). The coats, as czech people call them, understood to entertain more than 60.000 people. Summer in Schleswig-Holstein.
What for allergy sufferers means hell in the world, to me is like paradise: life on the flat land. Always a breeze of fresh wind in your hair and the smell of freshly mown grass in the nose, which is here and there replaced by bestial stench of manure . The salt in the air, the glimpse into the vastness of the horizons on the coasts of the North Sea and Baltic Sea. Into this stereotype also fall the following photographs.
